The Scream Copycat Murders & The Murder of Cassie Jo Stoddart
Friday Oct 16, 2020
Friday Oct 16, 2020
Alisson Cambier, Gina Castillo, and Cassie Jo Stoddart--all of these young women were needlessly murdered by men and boys that felt inspired by Wes Craven’s Scream movie franchise. Today, we discuss all 3, but go into detail on the Cassie Jo Stoddart murder case to expose the foolish and senseless depths that losers Brian Lee Draper and Torey Adamchik go through to feel cool. Join us this week as we talk out the trash and kick these guys to the curb. We also have on our buddy Friday who was able to join us in the dumpster!

Friday Oct 09, 2020
Friday Oct 09, 2020
Family Annihilators--unfortunately, it’s a tale as old as time. However, because of a Chris Watts documentary, there is renewed interest around this criminal phenomenon. 95% of family annihilators (that is, people who kill their families) are men/boys.
Learn about the many factors and about the research that goes into trying to figure out these monsters. We talk a little about Chris Watts, but our real goal is to help capture another fugitive off the FBI Top Ten Most Wanted List: Robert William Fisher. He’s been on the run since April 10, 2001. Join us this week as we hope to take this human garbage out to the curb.

The Price of Honor: Our Interview with Xoel Pamos & Ruth Trotter
Thursday Oct 01, 2020
Thursday Oct 01, 2020
Yaser and Patricia Said had 2 beautiful, talented, bright daughters--Amina and Sarah. They also had a son, Islam. After years of abuse and terror, Yaser executed his daughters in cold blood. The FBI dubbed it an “honor killing,” and he was put on the FBI Top 10 Most Wanted list after the release of the documentary The Price of Honor. Yaser was on the run for over 12 years--that is, until August 26, 2020. Now, Islam, Yassein, and Yaser are all in police custody.
We covered this case in Episode #40, but we had the opportunity to talk with Xoel Pamos, who was one of the makes of the film The Price of Honor, and Ruth Trotter, Amina’s boyfriend’s mother (they're both much more than that, but this is supposed to be a summary).

Follow Ruth on Twitter: @rmtpink.
You can also watch The Price of Honor on many streaming platforms including Amazon Prime.
Also, please like the Facebook page, “The Price of Honor” to see related articles, pictures, and updates. We can’t wait for the next film! Hopefully, Xoel has the opportunity to call Yaser a "motherfucker" to his face. We can only hope.

The Horrific "Honor" Killings of Amina and Sarah Said
Thursday Sep 03, 2020
Thursday Sep 03, 2020
Amina and Sarah were two fun, beautiful, lively teenagers who met their horrible end at the hands of their own father, Yaser Said, on January 1, 2008. The story leading up to this event is unbelievable.
Yaser went on the run after the murders--for 12 years. He made the FBI Top Ten Most Wanted list six years ago. Luckily, on August 26, 2020, Yaser was taken into custody without incident. This garbage person is no longer on the run and will get what’s coming to him.
Join the Dumpster crew to hear their stories and honor their memory. Thanks for listening!

Love and marriage--go together like a horse and carriage? Not this week. We feature two stories of marriages gone awry. The first one is the story of 29-year-old Rogério Damascena, a salesman, and his bride, 25-year-old lawyer Renata Coelho in northeastern Brazil.
The second one is about 25-year old Cody Johnson and his 22-year old bride, Jordan Graham--seemingly two lovebirds who just tied the knot in Kalispell, Montana.
Both parties promised ‘til death did they part--but, did they technically keep their promises? We’ll be checking our dumpster to see. Join us!

Rachel Dolezal, Errrr...I mean Nkechi Amare Diallo?
Sunday Aug 02, 2020
Sunday Aug 02, 2020
Join hosts Amy and Kevin in the dumpster this week as they chat with Amy’s former students, Le’Asia and Alisha, about the ever-enigmatic Rachel Dolezal and being young, Black people in Portland.
Rachel Dolezal (also known as Nkechi Amare Diallo) came to fame/infamy in 2015 while she was serving as the president of the NAACP chapter in Spokane, Washington. Rachel was an African Studies instructor at Eastern Washington University and the mother to two Black boys. She was a well-respected and outspoken “Black” woman in her community, until she was confronted about her very white, very confusing past. Does it matter if she’s Black or white? Yes, we think it does. Listen as we hash out Rachel’s past and the impact it has on our community today...and have a little fun while doing it!
